“Summer days driftin’ away to ah, oh, the summer nights,” sings John Travolta in Grease. Summer is just around the corner and we’re all looking for fun activities to do this vacation. What a perfect way it is to beat the heat by splashing around, dancing to the music, getting wet and drinking up.
Last May 2016, SPLASH, a summer-themed semester-ender pool party, was born. It was an event conceptualized to provide UP and non-UP students a time to enjoy and interact with other people after an exhausting semester. This summer, the sequel to an event that we’ve all been looking forward to is back. A beer pong competition will be held as well as a lot of other mini-games.
The UP Sports Organization and Management invites you to come by and rave with us on the 24th of May 2018 from 9 pm onwards. The event will be held at La Reve Pool and Events Venue along Sct. Esguerra Avenue. Beats and music are mixed and crafted by Percy Tolentino, Pat Lopez, and Zerxes. Tickets are sold at Php250.00 and Php300.00 for the door price. Avail tickets before May 20, 2018 and get them for only Php220.00. Part of the proceeds will go to “Somach Love,” UP SOMA’s outreach program for young students and communities in underprivileged areas.
