Sony Pictures has been teasing and rescheduling the release of this trailer for months now, but we finally have it! After a full day of hints on Twitter from Tom Holland himself, the teaser of “Spider-Man: Far From Home” is here.
If you’re still not quite over Peter Parker’s infamous last scene in “Avengers: Infinity War” (you know the one, he pitifully calls out “I don’t feel so good, Mr. Stark.”) then this is just what you need. The trailer is so fun and upbeat, it’s the perfect reminder that Peter is still very much a teenager who wants to live a “normal” teenage life.
Of course, being Spider-Man, that’s not really an option for him. It seems that just when his class trip to Europe is sailing smoothly, he has to be hit with a huge dose of reality. Literally, as he is gushing about a new crush on his classmate, MJ, the action starts to take off.
Nick Fury (also back from the ashes) essentially kidnaps Peter on a cross-Europe mission to take on some supervillains. Hydro-man and Mysterio are pretty easily spotted, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only villains in store for the sequel.
But it’s really so much better when you watch it. So take a look yourself:
Maybe to make up for the delay of trailers, Sony Pictures actually released two of them on the same day. The gist of the trailer is the same as the first but includes some different footage. Watch it yourself to let us know what differences you spot:
