Special Life-Sized Art and Illustrations Seen Across Asia for Launch of “Horizon Forbidden West”

Regarded as the biggest first-party game to launch for Sony since the release of the PlayStation5, “Horizon Forbidden West” has just been released today, February 18, ready to take gamers to new lands where even greater, deadlier adventures await!

According to the official description, “Horizon Forbidden West” takes place six months after the events of “Horizon Zero Dawn.” Aloy, a machine hunter, has travelled west to investigate a mysterious and deadly blight. In these uncharted lands, she will meet strange new tribes and encounter ever more deadly machines. Together with old friends and new companions, she must brave this new frontier to find the answers she needs to save life on Earth.

Life-sized Clawstrider Machine Statue

Located in 1st floor Atrium Square of Lotte World Mall in Seoul, South Korea, the life-sized statue was built meticulously with close collaboration with Guerrilla Studios and it showcases Clawstrider, a machine that is covered from head to tail in razor-sharp plates and equipped with vicious claws on both feet and forelimbs. The statue will be displayed until March 2.

Aloy Special Illustrations

Sony collaborated with prominent Asia-based illustrators Ravee of Titans (Thailand), Ann Maulina (Indonesia), Lee InHyuk (South Korea), VOFAN (Taiwan), and Little Thunder (Hong Kong) to create amazing art pieces of Aloy from “Horizon Forbidden West.” The illustrators have created Desktop/Teleconference Wallpapers and Smartphone Wallpapers that will display Aloy in each illustrator’s unique style. “Horizon Forbidden West” Machines Papercraft

Sony also created special papercraft design of “Horizon Forbidden West” Machines, Clawstrider and Sunwing, which fans can create on their own by printing the paper design and following the guides here.
