Sofitel Manila Resumes Hotel Operations Today
Manila, October 10, 2011 – In line with the announcement of Sofitel Manila’s General Manager Goran Aleks last October 3 in a press conference held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza’s grand lobby, the five star luxury hotel in Manila resumes hotel operations today. After only a week and a half after typhoon Pedring hits the Philippines, Sofitel is now ready to open its doors to its valued guests. As Mr. Aleks stated, “The opening date was determined based on the pre-condition that Sofitel‘s standards of quality, safety and security will be 100-percent achieved”.
The hotel is now operational for guest rooms, Club Millésime, banqueting and events, and its famous lagoon-shaped pool is now accessible for guests. On the other hand, outlets on the Plaza level such as Le Spa, SoFit, The Zen Institute, Philippe Tordjman Le Salon and Gymboree are scheduled to open in the first few weeks of November. With Spiral restaurant still under renovation, Le Bar at the Lobby level serves sumptuous international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as delectable a la carte menus. Sunset Bar, on the other hand, will serve buffet every Fridays and Saturdays starting October 14 and 15 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
Oktoberfest Manila 2011 will also push through as scheduled. This traditional beer festival will be held at The Harbor Garden Tent from 6pm until midnight on October 20 to 22, and from 10:30am to 2pm on October 23, which is Family Day, where inflatable bouncing castles, magicians, face painters and other fun games will delight the young and old alike during Sunday Brunch. Sofitel Manila Unveils New Buffet Offerings
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila Hotel, the only luxury hotel in Pasay, now offers new buffet offerings starting October 10. While the famous Spiral Buffet Restaurant is being reconceived and is slated to launch in 2012, Sofitel Manila announces its buffet offerings available at Le Bar, Snaps Sports Bar and Sunset Bar.
Le Bar, a 3 in 1 concept, featuring Bar, Galette and all day dining now provides buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a-la–carte option for discerning guests with a view of the magnificent Manila Bay. International buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served daily highlighting signature dishes from Spiral such as Pan Fried Foie Gras, US Prime Ribs, BBQ and Chocolate Fountains. Buffet breakfast starts at 6:30am until 10:30am, while lunch buffet starts at 11:30am until 2:30pm (Mon-Sat), 11:30am until 3pm on Sunday, and dinner buffet starts at 6:00pm until 10:30pm (Sun-Thurs), 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm (Fri- Sat). Breakfast buffet starts at Php 1,050 +++, lunch buffet rate starts at Php 1,200 +++ and dinner buffet rate starts at Php 1,450 +++. International cocktails and a wine list of up to 120 labels are also available at Le Bar. Also, Galette is open daily from 5:30am to 1:00am with pastries, cakes and breads at 50% off at 7pm onward. Sunset Bar, on the other hand, serves a Sunset barbeque buffet on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30pm to 10:30pm starting October 14 and 15, 2011. Likewise, Snaps Sports Bar, located at the Lobby level, serves delectable ala-carte menus 24/7 for guests.
