Okay, so let’s talk about condoms. Although we risk offending the sensibilities of the self-righteous here, condoms are in fact, a scientifically proven contraceptive to pregnancy and helps prevent transmit HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
That being said, flavored condoms aren’t a new thing, which a commercial or even a trip to the convenience store would tell you that they come in different flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, and what have you. They’re pretty much similar to ice cream flavors, to be honest.
However, a Malaysian company is coming up with an interesting flavor, and it’s, get ready for it… nasi lemak.
While those of us who have traveled to this nearby Southeast Asian country would be familiar with this chili-infused dish, for those unaware, nasi lemak is Malaysia’s “national dish”, which is rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf.
Granted that the dish is popular in Malaysia, but that’s pretty much like having a Filipino-flavored condom like adobo!
Interesting times, indeed.
