So Chris Evans Might Join the Movie Adaptation of this Broadway Musical

Chris Evans, popularly known as Captain America in the Avengers franchise, is certainly going in a different route if he accepts a role in the West End and Broadway musical The Little Shop of Horrors, which will be turned into a movie.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actor is in negotiations to play Orin Scrivello, a sadistic dentist.

Reports also say that Scarlett Johansson and Taron Egerton are also negotiating key roles. Billy Porter has already signed as the voice of the carnivorous plant, also a key character.

The Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. It started as a low-budget film in 1960. It was then adapted into a musical in 1982, eventually playing on the West End in 1983 and Broadway in 2003. The musical was adapted into a movie in 1986.

There is no word when this version of the musical will screen.
