SNCEC 2025 Returns: Uniting Future Chemical Engineers in Innovation and Sustainability

The Students’ National Chemical Engineering Conference (SNCEC), the premier gathering of aspiring chemical engineers across the Philippines, makes its much-awaited return this November 15–16, 2025, at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Now in its 16th year, SNCEC 2025 carries the theme “Engineering Tomorrow Together: Pushing Boundaries, Exploring Horizons, Sustaining the Future.” This year’s conference invites participants to go beyond the conventional, embrace innovation, and take part in shaping a more sustainable and collaborative future for the field of chemical engineering.

Organized by the UP Chemical Engineering Society, Inc. (UP KEM), SNCEC continues its tradition of uniting chemical engineering students, professionals, and academics in a two-day event that highlights both academic excellence and industry connection.

The conference will feature two flagship sub-events designed to challenge, inspire, and connect participants nationwide:

Inter-University Quiz Show (INTER-U) – Set on November 15, INTER-U is a nationwide academic competition where the brightest chemical engineering students showcase their technical expertise and problem-solving skills through two segments: the Quiz Show and the Case Study Competition. Teams from universities across the country will compete in a dynamic display of intellect, collaboration, and innovation.

Chemical Engineering Student-Industry Convergence (CESC) – Happening on November 16, this newly reimagined event aims to bridge the gap between the academe and the industry. CESC will feature plenary talks, company presentations, and interactive networking sessions with leading professionals and organizations in the field. It offers participants valuable insights into real-world applications of chemical engineering and explores potential career paths.

With its national scope and forward-looking theme, SNCEC 2025 promises to be more than just a competition or symposium—it is a platform for collaboration, discovery, and growth. Participants will not only gain technical knowledge but also build connections that transcend classroom boundaries.

Registrations are now open for all chemical engineering students from universities and colleges across the Philippines. Don’t miss this opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your knowledge, and engage with fellow future engineers and industry leaders!
