Smokin’ Hot BarBQ: A New Take On Filipino Cuisine!

RICE RELOADED

If you chose to dine in at Smokin’ Hot BarBQ you’ll have a number of rice to choose from! Here two options from their menu:

dulong riceaq

Dulong Rice – Php 195.00

Stir-fried white rice with fried dulong fish, black beans, green mangoes and onion leeks

aligue rice

Aligue Rice – Php 155.00

White rice tossed with crab fat

Other option includes Black Rice, Sisig Rice, Chicharon Rice and Chorizo Rice. The Dulong Rice of course is my favorite, it’s like a full meal already. Plus the dulong and green mangoes goes well together.

FIESTA FAVORITES

A Filipino cuisine themed restaurant wouldn’t be complete without having fiesta food staples on their menu. Smokin’ Hot BarBQ offers the favorite fiesta foods like Bulalo, Adobong Pusit and Dinuguan. And of course, their specialty barbeques!

bulalo

Smokin’ Hot BarBQ’s Bulalo is currently on my top list for the best Bulalo that I’ve tasted. It may lack some ingredients, like potatoes and corn, but the taste of the soup definitely made this perfect for a family gathering! Pinakbet is also one of the best that I had, although I would opt to have more squash than bittermelon the next time I go there, I just forgot to tell it to our server that time.
