Last August 25, 2012, the wireless leader Smart Communications, Inc (Smart) has officially launched the Smart LTE offering its subscribers the fastest Internet service. Present at the launch in Resorts World Manila was its Consumer Division Head Noel Lorenzana who said “the Smart LTE Plan 3500 subscribers are free to use their high speed Internet services to their hearts’ content.”

According to Lorenzana, the Smart LTE dongle that will work seamlessly across all connections such as HSPA+, HSPA, and 3G. “Use the Smart LTE dongle and experience what it feels like to Live Faster and to Live More,” said the Consumer Division Head.
Smart LTE Speedtest
Smart LTE is officially the fastest 4G wireless technology in the country which enables its subscribers to enjoy wireless download speeds of up to 42Mbps with a 10gb monthly cap. The rollout will complement the deployment of parent company, PLDT’s Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) fixed broadband service, which is capable of delivering speeds up to 100Mbps. As per PLDT and Smart President and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno, “this combination of LTE and FTTH gives the PLDT group unmatched capabilities to serve the requirements for mobile and fixed broadband services.”

Smart LTE, which is capable of delivering wireless connectivity with unparalleled stability, will be available in different establishments located at various areas such as Alabang, BGC, Pasay, Makati, Ortigas, San Juan and Quezon City.
Smart LTE live online gaming competition
To put this to test, a live online gaming competition situated in Manila and at the Jump Experience Center in Cebu followed after the official launch with Smart and E-Games flying the Korean gaming champion, Kim “Classic” Hong Jae to Manila.
Smart is giving early adopters a special treat as it offers its new LTE service on unlimited until October 25, 2012.
