For those who want a bit of old-fashioned romance for this coming Valentines Day, check this out!

A service of “singing karteros” or singing postmen will be making the rounds on hearts day, delivering love letters and flowers, all with a special song number!

If you’re thinking of sending that special romantic telegram for your loved one, choose from a list of pre-selected mix of old and new love songs for the postman to sing. From classics such as “Beautiful” and “In My Eyes” to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”, your special someone will definitely be swept away by this sweet serenade!

This service is launched by the Philippine Postal Corp., which will run from February 9 to February 14.

According to the PHLPost, they decided to revive the singing karteros, because they realized that they had a lot of postmen who could carry a tune. They also believe that this service is going to be a hit, because Pinoys are hopeless romantics at heart!

But if you’re planning for this special gesture on the 14th, better book in advance! There will be a cut off time on Valentines, and the office will only accept delivery orders for Rizal, Bulacan and Cavite up to 10 a.m.; the entire Metro Manila up to noon; and Manila at 2 p.m.

How romantic!

Would you want to be serenaded by the “singing karteros”?
