Singer-Songwriter Stef Aranas is Releasing Her New Single This September at Mow’s

Stef Aranas is a local singer-songwriter who regularly writes romantic adolescent anxieties into pop-R&B grooves and melodies. Developing a passion for music early on, she sings about the many highlights and heartaches of growing up as a young, transgender woman. 2015 marked Stef’s first original release: Touch, produced by Technicalia. Other notable releases include her sultry single with Sage Ilagan, Ocean Floor, and the Caloy Perez-produced Trust.

Most recently, she and long-time collaborator Eugene Yaptangco teamed up to make pop-R&B duo Stef & Euge. In February 2019, they launched their debut EP, Palate Cleanser. Since its release, the record has made waves both online and on-air with tracks, Eyes and Butter, becoming staples in editorial playlists on Spotify and local radio stations like Jam 88.3, Studio 89.9, and Wave 89.1.

The duo’s musical grind came to a pause in March 2019 when Stef bid Quezon City farewell to pursue her foreign exchange program in Japan. Despite the distance, Stef & Euge released Eyes 2.0 in June. It currently sits at over 100, 000 streams on Spotify playlists like OPM Says Chillax, Pinoy Indie Mix and Relax Tayo. Having come home to her motherland, Stef is back and more ready than ever to hit the stage once again.
