4. Meet a variety of primates at the Primate Kingdom
It was here at the Singapore Zoo where I saw the most number of primate species in my entire life and I would have to admit that it felt a bit overwhelming. Aside from orangutans, you will also meet the ff:
Brown Capuchin Monkey
Lion-tailed Macaque
Patas Monkey
Douc Langur
Baboons
forgot its name but its fur truly made a huge impression. I believe his hair is healthier than mine! lols
Black and White Colobus Monkey
Oh, don’t forget that we humans are primates too!
5. Meet the Koalas at the Australia Zone
Be transported to the Land Down Under the moment you pass the rustic entrance into the Australian Zone that was conceptualised in collaboration with Australia’s own wildlife icon, the late Steve Irwin. Australia’s golden wilderness is home to a range of diverse and unique wildlife, many of which, in the wild, can only be found in Australia.
6. Visit the White Tiger
I’ve always wanted to see a white tiger.. the fairest of them all! These white tigers are one of the star attractions at Singapore Zoo because of their rarity and uncommon beauty. With their blue eyes, pink noses, and creamy white fur covered with brown stripes, these giant cats are truly a cat-tivating sight! Thank goodness I brought my telephoto lens that day so I was able to take close-up shots without getting eaten. Yeah, I highly recommend you bring your zoom lens when you visit Singapore Zoo.
7. Marvel at the richness and diversity of the rainforest at Fragile Forest
Imagine stepping inside an actual rainforest where you can witness how various wildlife  co-exist in this breathtaking ecosystem. It enables guests to experience how it’s like to be in an actual rainforest. You will inevitably stop in your tracks to admire the splendor of rainforest species like butterflies, lemurs, crowned pigeons, iguanas and mousedeers as they co-exist in perfect harmony.
My most favorite spot was the observation deck, because it was where I got to see creatures roaming and flying freely above our heads.
8. Join the Animal Feeding Sessions
This perhaps was the ultimate highlight of my Singapore Zoo visit… I bet it was everyone’s favorite too! To have the opportunity to touch and bond with them felt so fulfilling! Priceless really. And it makes you more aware about the importance of saving and protecting them.

Giraffe Feeding
This experience is indeed one of my most memorable this year.  There’s so much to love and appreciate about this place, and it sure is great to know that all the animals here are well fed and cared for. Kudos to all the dedicated people behind Wildlife Reserves Singapore! Definitely worth supporting!
