Major mall chain operators in the Philippines will cut operating hours starting Monday, March 30, due to the country’s National Energy Emergency.

SM Supermalls, which currently operates 90 shopping malls nationwide, announced that mall hours will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Mondays to Fridays, and 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Malls, which has over 50 malls across the country, will also adjust its operating hours.
Robinsons Malls will be open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Mondays to Fridays, which is one to two hours shorter than its usual schedule. Its weekend hours will remain from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Mall closing hours may vary for specific Robinsons Malls, and the public is advised to stay updated by checking each mall’s official social media pages.
Similarly, Ayala Malls, with 30 malls nationwide, will implement 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM operating hours on weekdays, while maintaining its regular weekend schedule of 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The public is likewise encouraged to check mall-specific schedules through official channels.
Likewise, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, which operates 18 shopping malls, announced that adjusted hours will vary depending on the location.

- Alabang West Parade: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Arcovia City: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday); 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Friday and Saturday)
- California Garden Square: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday);
- 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Eastwood City: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Festive Walk Iloilo: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Forbes Town: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Greenhouse: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Lucky Chinatown Mall:
- Prosperity Wing, Street Kitchen, and Hawker Street: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Weekdays to weekends)
- Mall & Imperial Wing: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Thursday); 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Friday to Sunday)
- Newport City: 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)
- Paseo Center: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)
- San Antonio Place: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)
- San Lorenzo Place Mall: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Weekdays to Weekends)
- Southwood Malls: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- The Mactan Newtown: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Thursday and Sunday); 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Friday and Saturday)
- Three Central Mall: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)
- Twin Lakes: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- Uptown Bonifacio: 11:00 AM – 10 PM (Sunday to Thursday); 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Friday and Saturday)
- Venice Grand Canal Mall: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
Megaworld also shared that cinema hours will be shortened in malls with cinemas. From Mondays to Tuesdays, screenings will run from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while from Wednesday to Sunday, cinemas will operate from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
