Otis and the rest of the gang are about to complete their final requirements in school, as the Netflix series “Sex Education” released an official trailer for its fourth and final season!
The first trailer went live on July 5, 2023, with new faces, challenges, and more exciting scenes to watch out for. As the trailer shows, Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) is introducing himself in his new school at Cavendish Sixth Form College, following the closure of Moordale Secondary in season 3.

“I just wanted to let you know a little bit about myself. I spend a lot of my free time thinking about sex,” Otis said, leaving the Cavendish students cultured shock.
In an attempt to raise awareness of the importance of sex education on campus and open a new clinic, Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa) hoped they would continue to become progressive and won’t be labeled as losers again.
Otis continued, “I live and breathe sex, all day, every day. Thinking about sex comes very naturally to me because I learned everything I know about sex from my mom.”
Although the Moordale students who know his family background are backing him up, they are still shocked at how Otis blatantly talks about sex, urging Eric to interfere, “For goodness sake, just tell them you’re a sex therapist!”

Meanwhile, Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey) is about to overcome new challenges at Wallace University in America upon pursuing a study program. The cast members for this season include Dan Levy, Thaddea Graham, Lisa McGrillis, Marie Reuther, Jodie Turner-Smith, Eshaan Akbar, Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, Reda Elazouar, Bella Maclean, and Imani Yahshua.
Sex Education creator Laurie Nunn also penned a heartfelt letter for the viewers on the series’ Instagram.
“We wanted to make a show that would answer some of the questions we all used to have about love, sex, friendship, and our bodies. Something that would have helped our inner teenagers feel a little less alone,” she said.

Laurie also emphasized how difficult it was to end the show. However, this is the “right time” to graduate.
“Writing this feels bittersweet, as we’ve decided the fourth season will also be the final installment of our show,” she added.
The series creator expressed her gratitude to the writers, cast, and crew who made the four seasons happen. She concluded her letter, “Goodbyes are the worst, but let’s celebrate all the good times we’ve had.”
Sex Education season 4 premieres on Netflix on September 21, 2023.
