Seoul Train: Korean Barbecue at its Finest

SEOUL TRAINA5 Wagyu Striploin (Php3,600/180g)

The A5 Wagyu Striploin is one specialty that the owners take pride in. This is imported directly from Kagoshima, Japan, and they are one of the very few restaurants that are able to get such fresh quality meat. It only takes about 15 seconds to grill the A5 Wagyu Striploin to perfection, and even without any marinade or spices, the meat itself is bursting with flavor. It’s the “meat of the gods”, as Mr. Vernon puts it. The A5 Wagyu Striploin isn’t on their menu, though, so you’ll have to ask the staff for it. It costs Php3,600 for 180 grams.

Another specialty meat is the USDA Rib-eye Tenderloin, which is imported from the United States. It is a fresh quality steak slice grilled right at your table. It is also served without any marinade or seasoning to let you taste the fullness of the actual meat’s flavor. However, if you want to add more flavor to this already-perfect steak, you can also add classic Korean side dishes, such as kimchi or steamed potatoes. The USDA Rib-eye Tenderloin costs Php1,280 per 210 grams.

SEOUL TRAINYangnyeom Galbi (Php800/240g)

Seoul Train also offers specialty meat that’s more inclined to the Filipino taste. The Yangnyeom Galbi, for example, is soaked with a classic Korean marinade that’s influenced by the sweet tangy taste that Filipinos love. The beef is also imported from the United States, and adding the delicious marinade makes for a tasty barbecue that you’re sure to enjoy. You can get the Yangnyeom Galbi for Php800 per 240 grams.
