CLOY’s Seo Ji Hye will be back on our screens with Song Seung Heon in this adorable new K-drama

If you’ve been searching for your next K-drama to binge, this could be it. Seo Ji Hye and Song Seung Heon will be starring in a new rom-com series and we can already imagine how kilig it will be.

Based on a popular webtoon, Dinner Mate or Shall We Eat Dinner Together? follows two people “who have grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreaks.”

The pair serendipitously make each other’s acquaintance by accidentally being mistaken as a couple at a restaurant. They have dinner together after they are offered a ‘couple special’ by the hostess and decide to meet up again weekly. The unlikely friendship results in them opening up and helping each other heal.

Dinner Mate will reportedly air on May 25, 2020 and will run until July 14, 2020. It is set to have 32 episodes and will release 2 episodes at a time.

The series stars Song Seung Heon (Kim Hae Kyung), Seo Ji Hye (Woo Do Hee), Lee Ji Hoon (Jung Jae Hyuk) & Son Na Eun (Jin Noh Eul). It is directed by Go Jae Hyun and written by Kim Joo.
