Senators Sherwin Gatchalian and Nancy Binay have received their coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) test results as they undergo self-quarantine.
Health Secretary Francisco Duque III announced this March 17 that both senators tested negative for COVID-19.

“Lumabas naman ang test results nila Senators Nancy at Gatchlian, negative,” Duque said in an interview on dzMM.
Duque also discussed the case of Senator Migs Zubiri, who had earlier tested positive for COVID-19. The Health chief stated he would request a second test for Zubiri to confirm the result.
“Meron ding kasi kahit papanong nakakalusot na false positive,” he explained.
The three senators will continue the 14-day period of self-quarantine. They were exposed to an individual infected by the virus during a recent Senate committee hearing.
