Rumor has been going around social media that Sen. Risa Hontiveros filed a ‘Color-Coding ng mga Pasahero ng MRT/LRT’ Bill. A fan page posted about it on Facebook and many were quick to believe it.
However, the senator clarified that she did not post such bill via her Facebook page.
Sen. Hontiveros said, “For your reference, you may check senate.gov.ph. 🙂 #ColorCoding.”
Along with this, she posted the image below that shows the bills she filed and that one bill she didn’t file.
The rumor may seem outrageous but some fell for it.
A good thing to do on social media is to research first before taking anything as fact.
