President Duterte recently accepted the nomination for him to run for Vice President in the upcoming 2022 elections and now Mayor Sara Duterte said that his father will be the Senator’s running mate.
On Wednesday, Davao City Mayor Sara détente said that the Bong Go-Rodrigo Duterte tandem will be running for the 2022 national elections.
In her statement, the Mayor said that her father personally confirmed his plans of running with Go. “The President, very recently, personally confirmed to me that he will run for Vice President and Senator Go as President,” Sara said.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque added that the tandem will abort the plan if the Mayor would want to seek Presidency.
