Since the announcement of a Parasite miniseries, a much-talked-about sequel is almost coming to life as Bong Joon-Ho finished the script already. There are two full-length spin-offs which are in English and another in Korean.
In The Director’s Cut podcast, Bong Joon Ho shared that he’s been working tirelessly on the two scripts.
“It feels like I’m splitting my brain in half left and right writing these two scripts. But, I finished one last week.” He added, “the Korean film is located in Seoul and has unique elements of horror and action”, he shared.
Though no other details were revealed, we are looking forward to unraveling some hidden stories that he shared in an interview last year with The Wrap. I have a story for that and aside from that why does she know the existence of this bunker? What relationship does she have with that architect to know of this bunker? So I have all these hidden stories that I have stored”, he said.
