Korean-trained Pinoy Pop group SB19 recently entered Billboard’s “Next Big Sound” chart just last November 20. This is the first time a Filipino group has been included in the list and definitely shows that the international music scene is taking notice of us. After all, the chart signifies the rising popularity of artists worldwide.
Justin, Sejun, Ken, Josh, and Stell — the members who make up SB19 — announced the feat on their social media pages, thanking their fans for helping them make it happen. They made it to the 6th spot of the chart, making everyone excited about their bright future.

They addressed their fans in the announcement, saying: “Thank you so much for supporting our dreams and believing in us. Everything seems possible with you. We promise to work harder! Thank you also for sharing your stories through your letters. It warms our hearts to know that you find comfort, happiness and motivation through our music.”
Billboard explains that the chart is determined by US-based music analytics firm Next Big Sound. It is supposed to track “the fastest-accelerating artists from the past week across all major social music sites, statistically predicted to achieve future success.”
