Sanya Lopez is looking forward to more challenging roles after signing an exclusive contract with GMA Network. She took to social media to express her gratitude to the network for trusting her.
She wrote, “Now finally I signed a contract which is different from my previous contracts with GMA. This one is special coz it’s a Network contract! Meaning my relationship with GMA has grown deeper and more exciting things are coming. Salamat GMA sa pagbibigay ng tiwala sa aking kakayahan bilang artista.”
The actress promised to work harder and emphasized that she considers GMA as her second parent. In her post, she also shared snaps of her dazzling look and heartwarming contract signing.
Present during Lopez’s contract signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and President of GMA Pictures Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, among others.

In an interview with Oras 24, she revealed that she’s ready to take on more challenging roles she hasn’t explored yet, like GL series, superhero, and “bida kontrabida.”
Dubbed the “First Lady of Primetime,” Lopez rose to fame in her roles in several films and series, including Encantadia (remake), First Yaya, First Lady, Mga Lihim ni Urduja, Beautiful Justice, and Wild and Free. She first appeared in Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
