As much as BLACKJACKs are excited to see 2NE1 this month for their reunion concert, the feeling is definitely mutual for Sandara Park.

In an exclusive sit-down interview with MJ Felipe, Sandara shared her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support she has been receiving from Filipino BLACKJACKs.
“Hindi ko siya ma-express in words pero iba talaga para sa akin ang concert na ito, na babalik kami after ten years at kasama ko ang 2NE1. Parang dreams come true para sa akin (I can’t express it in words, but this concert means something else to me, that we will come back after ten years with 2NE1. It’s like a dream come true for me),” she said.
The K-pop star also revealed that she was initially worried about ticket sales for their upcoming reunion concert in Manila.
“Nung una, worried talaga ako kasi alam niyo naman na hindi madali ma-sold out ang isang arena… Kapag hindi na-sold out, lagot ako, kasi sabi ni boss YG, ‘Sandara, ikaw na bahala diyan sa Pilipinas.’ (At first, I was worried because we all know that it’s not easy to have a sold-out arena… If it’s not sold out, I’m in trouble because boss YG said, ‘Sandara, I’ll leave the Philippine concert to you’),” she shared.
“Na-sold out ito in a few minutes and may day two pa, so I can sleep well and tell them na iiba talaga ang 2NE1 sa Pilipinas (Our tickets sold out in a few minutes, and we have a day two, so I can sleep well and tell them that 2NE1 is really big here in the Philippines),” she added.
Seemingly unable to hide her excitement, the 2NE1 member has shared tweets ahead of their two-day shows starting tomorrow.
“Magandang umaga (Good morning) Manila!!! Work out done!!! with Hwang Ssabunim,” she tweeted, along with a series of gym photos with fellow 2NE1 members.

In another tweet, she wrote, “The girls are excited for Filipino food already.”
The 2NE1 member, who recently celebrated her 40th birthday on November 12, is more than excited and prepared to perform for Filipino BLACKJACKs at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 16 and 17.
This reunion concert, which coincides with their 15th debut anniversary, marks 2NE1’s first full-group performance in over a decade. The critically acclaimed South Korean girl group is widely known for their timeless hits “I Am the Best,” “I Don’t Care,” “Fire,” and more.
