Department of Student Welfare and Services (DSWS) celebrates yet another thanksgiving party for the non-teaching personnel of the Ateneo
In the spirit of Christmas, the Departmentof Student Welfare and Services (DSWS), in partnership with the Sanggunian ng Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila, annually organizes the Salamat sa Tumutulong (SST), a thanksgiving party for the non-teaching personnel of the Ateneo de Manila University. The whole community takes part in the appreciation of our valued security guards, lady photocopiers, cafeteria staff, residence halls personnel, maintenance staff, and department secretaries; for they too are important part of the Ateneo community. This event is the organization’s way of recognizing their efforts and expressing their deepest gratitude for their continuous help beyond their job descriptions. It is DSWS’ aim to return the favor and the best way to celebrate this is through SST during the Christmas season. This year, their aim is to make SST bigger and more fun with the help of their sponsors Smart, Quantum Amusement, Cliffton Guitars, Technopack and WheninManila.com.
With the theme Tanghalan ng Talento, our non-teaching personnel are ready to show their talents to the whole Atenean community. Five groups will battle it out to win an amazing price of a sponsored trip good for 7 people. The attendees also look forward for the amazing raffle prizes to be won. The event will happen on December 14,2016 at the Loyola Schools Covered Courts from 5– 8pm.
           Experience the thrill of giving back to our beloved Ates and Kuyas in the Ateneo de Manila University by being a volunteer. They have always been a part of the journey of Ateneans and it is only fitting that they experience a night they wouldn’t forget. Together, let’s be part of the reason for their smiles this Christmas season.
