The kitten who was born with two faces, named Biscuit and Gravy, has passed away on May 20, three days after he was born.
The kitten was born to Keenly, a farm cat raised by the King family in Oregon, United States.
Biscuit and Gravy was one of six kittens born to Keenly.
The kitten was born with four eyes, two noses, and two mouths, and eat, suck and meow from both faces. However, he only had one brain.
At the start, the kitten had been doing very well, according to the family’s veterinarian.
The family shared a photo of the kitten on Facebook that was taken an hour before his passing.
“This photo was taken about an hour before Biscuits died,” they wrote in the post.
“He was born with the longest of odds and by living nearly 4 days, he beat those odds.”
We thank all of you who have been so kind, prayed, and wished the best for Biscuits and Gravy,” the post concluded.
Another post of gratitude was published later on.
“I feel so blessed to be a part of the story of Biscuits and Gravy and how he brought joy and hope to so many people,” they wrote in the other post. “We loved him and cared for him and he passed in my hands. We are thankful to still have his siblings to care for and they are just as precious.”
This is too sad…
