Sa Mga Gutom Para sa Art, Resibo culture, at Tama Behavior: Tara na sa ArtivisTAYO!

Mula sa alab ng tapang at pagmamahal, ipapakilala ng Black Canvas itong bagong henerasyon ng artist-activists.

Our nation’s young artists are capable of becoming artivists who communicate humanizing truths from their sectors through different artforms. By connecting a new community of young Filipino artists, Black Canvas empowers this artivist generation to stand for their advocacies through ArtivisTAYO.

Supported by the Out of The Box Media Literacy Initiative (OOTB), Mano Amiga, and Facebook Philippines through the Youth Leaders Incubator, Black Canvas’ ArtivisTAYO is a two-month-long program that connects and empowers artists from all over the Philippines to respond to the nation’s call for collective action.

MAIN POSTER BC ARTIVISTAYO

Through a series of guest speaker-facilitated lectures and workshops, the program’s artivists have created an exciting three-part Arts Showcase that is coming to you this March 2022! Featuring round-table discussions with Alex Lacson, Ka Leody, Ka Bong, Roy Cabonegro, David D’Angelo, and many more, ArtivisTAYO promises powerful conversations that’ll fight for the rights of the country’s nascent artists.

Tara na’t lumikha at magbahagi ka! ArtivisTAYO streams every weekend at 8PM on March 12, 20, and 26, 2022. Catch the last episode on Ecological Healing via Black Canvas’ official Facebook page: @theblackcanvasph.
