Ryan Reynolds has always loved trolling his friends and loved ones through social media, but it seems that he just got a taste of his own medicine thanks to his mom.
On Saturday, Ryan took to Instagram to post a “Happy Best Friends Day” greeting for his friend Jake Gyllenhaal. But instead of sharing a photo with Jake in it, Ryan posted a photo of him with Hugh Jackman instead.
Both Jake and Hugh mirrored Ryan’s post with their own photos greeting each other a “Happy Best Friends Day” while purposely excluding whoever they were greeting.
However, the trio’s joke seemed to go over Ryan’s mom, Tammy Reynolds’, head because she quickly jumped into the comments of Ryan’s post to say, “Let’s make that Hugh!” presumably to correct him for the error in his post.
Ryan went ahead to tell her this:
