It seemed unlikely, but La La Land star Ryan Gosling just upped his chances of nabbing the James Bond role!
If the actor has anything to thank, it’s his composure during the Oscar win snafu where La La Land was wrongly announced as the winner that slashed his odds in playing the spy character!
While the La La Land cast and crew onstage were understandably shocked and confused, it was Ryan’s reaction that sealed the deal.

That’s right — Ryan was giggling at the whole situation!
In response to this, bookmakers William Hill has cut his odds to be take over the role of James Bond from 14/1 to 10/1.
According to a spokesperson for William Hill:
“Ryan Gosling showed an admirable sense of humor and his composure was worthy of Mr Bond – the coolest cucumber of them all.”
Of course, Ryan is still far behind on the list, as James Bond has typically cast actors of British origins. Favorites such as James Norton, Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, and even Tom Hiddleston lead the list of the next 007.
