Run for a Cause at the MNL City Run 2019 This October

At this day and age, running events have been a staple part of the Philippine sporting event calendar. Just in Metro Manila, you can at least see billboards, posters and social media posts announcing the next run offering the craziest concepts that aim to attract even non-sports enthusiast to lace their sneakers up and jog along with professional athletes.

Somehow, with all the colorful themes and the props that surround these running events, the audiences forget why they participated in the first place. This is what the MNL City Run 2019 aims to change.

The first-ever MNL City Run 2019 wants its runners to take every stride remembering that they are part of a cause. Each runner will help raise funds for the benefit of Pedro E. Diaz High School.

“We understand that there are a lot of running events out there and it’s not our goal to stand out. Our main objective here is really to provide an avenue for people, especially the younger generation, where they can help and be part of something bigger than themselves. And be healthy, and have fun doing it!” said Ruel Regine Cruz, OIC, and Founder of Rule & Rich Events Management.
