Ruffa Gutierrez took to her Instagram account to remind everyone about the importance of keeping and respecting other people’s privacy, following rumors that she is in a relationship with former mayor Herbert Bautista.
“Social media has made us so eager to show and tell but there is BEAUTY in PRIVACY. Everything isn’t meant to be on display. It’s perfectly fine not to overshare and to keep some things for you. I don’t need validation from strangers because I’m genuinely HAPPY,” she said in her post.
“Good morning everyone, especially sa lahat ng Maritess!”
Ruffa’s post comes after netizens started speculating that she is the “new beautiful girlfriend” of the former mayor that Kris Aquino had mentioned in her latest post wherein she criticized her former flame for reminiscing about their past romance. “It’s common knowledge that you’re now in a new relationship with a beautiful girlfriend… so if you need to talk about your love life, please talk about your present, not your past,” Kris had said.
Around the same time, Ruffa had trooped to Twitter to tweet in defense of her former “The House Arrest of Us” costar alleging that the controversial tweets that he made about Kris had been the fault of an admin.
As it stands, her Instagram post regarding privacy may be her response to these rumors and it’s unclear whether she will speak up on the matter again in the future.
