#RPNonFiction: Netizens Recount Their Martial Law Stories

#RPNonFiction Netizens Recount Their Martial Law Stories

A few days ago, Twitter went aflame with #RP69FanFic, a hashtag where he invited netizens to come up with slash fiction involving the sons of the 2016 presidentiables and vice presidentiables. It was a raunchy yet hilarious respite from the tense proceedings of the vice presidential race, where Cong. Leni Robredo was head-to-head with Sen. Bong Bong Marcos. The hashtag was the brainchild of Philbert Dy, a noted writer and film critic.

Now, Dy turned the table with #RPNonFiction, which is much more serious than #RP69FanFic. Here, he invited netizens to share their Martial Law stories. Through the process, Marcos apologists will see what truly happened from 1972 to 1981. And it was very dark.

Dy said, “The Marcoses keep trying to take control of the narrative. Don’t let them. This is our story. Our tragedy.”
