The next day, after getting our much-needed sleep, we enjoyed a relaxing morning yoga session, again, by the beach. It eased our sore muscles from the burnout the day before.
For the finale, we hopped on a van and went to our trekking site: a San Narciso pride, the Nangoloan Falls! We went past the sandy trail and climbed big rocks and got a glimpse of crystal clear water running steadily down from the mountain. The water was cold, but thankfully, the sun was up; so it was refreshing all the same!
We went back to camp and bonded with our newfound friends before finally going back to the urban jungle that is Manila. We shared our travel stories, surfing tales and how we enjoyed our stay in the camp. To immortalize our legacy as the second batch of Roxy campers, we put our names on wood and nailed them to a coconut tree at the Kampsite.
Say hello to the Roxy Outdoor Fitness Girls Campers!
It may just seem like a brief vacation of sorts, but our two-day camp was the kind of fun that modern girls need. As we left the camp and headed back, we all made a mental note to watch out for this camp again next year. Hopefully, we’ll see you next year!
