Ronda Rousey replies to Pacman’s “anti-gay” comment

Manny Pacquiao’s recent “anti-gay” comment drew a lot of flak and hate from many people.  While the issue has mostly died down, fellow athlete and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey decided to give her two cents on the 8-division champ’s comment.

In a TMZ interview, Ronda Rousey aired her thoughts on Pacman’s comment, saying that God never said “Thou shall not be gay”:

“I understand that a lot of people use religion as a reason to be against gay people, but, I mean, there was no ‘Thou shall not be gay,’ God never said that… I really think that our Pope now is boss. He was saying something the other day that religion should be all-encompassing and should be about welcoming everyone and loving everyone and not leaving people out. And I think sometimes people take the wrong message sometimes.”

Rousey visited Pacquiao last year while the he was preparing for his match with Floyd Mayweather to show her support for the champ. But it looks like she’s not taking his side this time.
