Robi Domingo has had enough of the accusations some fans are hurling at him regarding his friendship with Maymay Entrata and his being an alleged enabler of Maymay’s tandem with fellow actor Donny Pangilinan (dubbed “MayDon”).
In a series of tweets, the 32-year-old host aired out his frustration towards “toxic” MayWard fans as he revealed a rather unkind message he received in his Instagram DMs. The message read, “Naaasar na sa ‘yo, sir, [ang] ibang Mayward kasi ginagamit mo lang daw si [Maymay] tapos boto ka kay Donny […] Dapat respect mo naman feeling ni Edward… Salamat.”
[Translation: “Many MayWard fans are feeling irritated by you, sir, because you are only using Maymay and you approve of her tandem with Donny … You should respect the feelings of Edward… Thank you.”]
Robi then stressed in his reply to the netizen that Maymay and Donny are only friends. “There’s nothing between Donny and Maymay except friendship. Edward is a close friend of mine as well. Please respect that.”
He also threatened to cancel his new talk show with Maymay called “Call Me MayBi” of which he is the producer if fans continue to throw negativity towards the both of them.
“If you guys think that way, then we can always end it anytime. I don’t tolerate toxic people. If you continue to act this way, I will stop producing the show. The very reason why I made this is I see potential in Maymay and I value inclusivity. If you don’t see these, then I am a failure and I shall stop,” he said.
He also wrote on his post how he’s “had enough” of these kinds of comments. “This has to stop. I value my friends,” he expressed. “I care about my friends. I don’t tolerate toxic people.”

Maymay couldn’t help but reply to his tweet and apologize on behalf of the fans for their behavior.
“Pasensya ka na Kuya Robs. Gustuhin ko man na matigil ang ganitong eksena pero gusto kong malaman mo kahit anong masamang sabihin ng ibang tao tungkol sayo, mangingibabaw ang katotohanan na busilak ang puso mo kuya at lagi kang may good intention sa mga mahal mo sa buhay. Aja kuya!” she wrote.
[Translation: “I’m sorry Kuya Robs. I want these kinds of things to end too but I want you to know that no matter what other people say about you, the truth will always prevail that you have a pure heart and always have the best intentions for those you love. Stay strong, kuya!”]

Maymay has also previously called on all her fans to stop speculating that she and Donny have a romantic relationship.
“Sa lahat ng MayDon fans, thank you pero gusto ko rin pong klaruhin na wala pong namamagitan sa aming dalawa,” she said in a tweet she posted in early October. “Sana ma-stop po ang pag-spread ng rumors about sa ‘min. Maraming salamat po.”
[Translation: “To all the MayDon fans, thank you but I want to clarify that there is nothing more between us than friendship. I hope we could stop the spread of these rumors about us. Thank you very much.”]
