Roberto Bellini, the founder and owner of the famous Bellini’s Italian Restaurant at Cubao Expo, passed away. He was 84.

His daughter, Joy Bellini, confirmed that he passed away on November 24 in a Facebook post.
“In loving memory of Roberto Grassini Bellini. Honoring the life and legacy of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend,” the post read.
Roberto’s wake will be held from November 26 to 28 at Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City, while his funeral will be on November 29 at 2 p.m.
Born in Pisa, Roberto hailed from a family of hoteliers. In 1999, he opened Bellini’s Italian Restaurant with his Filipina wife, Maria Luisa. The restaurant is best known for its appearance in the iconic film One More Chance. Roberto was also a good friend of John Lloyd Cruz, who portrayed Popoy in the film.
He is survived by Maria Luisa and their three children. May he rest in peace.
