Riot Games Announces Esports Plans for ‘Valorant’ in Southeast Asia

Riot Games has recently announced the 2021 esports and collegiate esports plans for their much-loved free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter game ‘Valorant’.

Riot Games will be partnering with various organizations for a competition across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Their esports partners will be organizing special tournaments to form Valorant’s esports ecosystem in Southeast Asia, while their collegiate partners will team up with universities for student tournaments.

Their partners for this event include Mineski Philippines and AcadArena for the Philippines, The Gaming Company for Malaysia and Singapore, Eliphant and The Professional Gamers League for Singapore, Talon for Hong Kong and Taiwan, Taiwan Mobile and TeSL for Taiwan, ESL for Thailand, and ONE Up for Indonesia.

Registration for the SEA qualifiers for the very first official Valorant event by Riot Games are currently ongoing for the Philippines.
