Renee “Alon” Dela Rosa, Composer of “Pusong Bato,” Passes Away

Renee “Alon” Dela Rosa, the singer-songwriter who composed the hit song “Pusong Bato,” passed away due to respiratory complications.

He was 61 years old.

His daughter, Justine Dela Rosa, confirmed the news on Facebook. In a post, she said, “Wala na po si Papuy Renee Alon.”

In an earlier post, she revealed that she and her family were looking for a hospital with an available room. Justine said, “nasa ambulance pa rin po si papa at kanina hapon pa po sila paikot-ikot sa iba’t ibang ospital. Wala po nag-aadmit dahil puno po yung rooms.”

In total, Dela Rosa’s family went to 35 hospitals but could not find an available room.
