Regine received the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award and couldn’t hold back her tears as she gave her acceptance speech.

Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Panginoon dahil ako po ay binigyan ng pagkakataon na gawin ang pinakagusto kong gawin sa buhay ko, that is to entertain all of you. So maraming, maraming salamat, Lord, for this wonderful gift. Naiiyak ako,” she gushed.

(“I am very thankful to the Lord because He gave me this opportunity to do what I love most in my life, that is to entertain all of you. So thank you so much, Lord, for this wonderful gift. I’m crying!”)

She also offered her award to her father, Mang Gerry, who passed away in February 2014.

Meanwhile, the Levi Celerio Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Jose Mari Chan.

Jed Madela and Christian Bautista tied at Male Recording Artist of the Year while Moira dela Torre garnered the award for Female Recording Artist of the Year.
