Earlier this week, Winwyn Marquez announced that she gave birth to her daughter, named Luna Teresita Rayn.
Days after, the Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 titleholder wrote a touching letter for Luna.
Marquez wrote, “Things you are praying for will show up when you are most ready for them and happens in the most unexpected way. God’s timing is indeed everything.”
She added, “HE gave me a love story better than I could ever dream of and an adorable baby girl to complete our little family. Thank you for coming into our lives Luna! having you and your dad in my life is the greatest gift of all.”
The letter was also timed to Marquez’s birthday.

She also shared a photo of Luna, with the caption, “My clothes are still too big mama but it’s okay! I still love you.. – Luna.”
Marquez announced her pregnancy through a YouTube vlog posted last December. In the vlog, she showed how she surprised her parents, Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez, with the news by giving them a copy of the sonogram.
She also posted a photo of herself wearing an elegant red dress and cradling her growing tummy as she shared the following message of hope:
“A lot has happened lately.. from the pandemic to natural disasters and so much more but at least for one day we get a boost of hope that we so dearly need. It might not be okay in an instant and might take a while but we must stay optimistic… Let’s hold on to our faith and pray that everything will be alright.”
This is Marquez’s first child with her non-showbiz boyfriend. She claims he is a “very private person.”
