But the most stunning detail during the event was the aisle, which was inscribed with words. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a poem, written by Lang Leav.

Lang Leav Abrenica Padilla

Lang Leav is a writer known for her poetry books Love & Misadventure, Memories, Lullabies, Love Looks Pretty on You, Sea of Strangers, The Universe of Us, and the novel Sad Girls. She has been active in the Philippines, visiting the country in 2013 and 2017. She has also met Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and wrote a poem for the loveteam AlDub, comprised of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.

Abrenica and Padilla’s wedding was the culmination of a year-long engagement that survived strained ties between Abrenica and Padilla’s father, the action star Robin Padilla.
