It’s easy to think that motherhood will make a woman not have time for things outside her family and work. But many are proving that they still have the time, passion, and energy to pursue other things. One of them is Kylie Padilla.
On Instagram, the actress shared how motherhood made her want to pursue all her other dreams.
Padilla said, “Being a young mom is not easy an thing… but It’s so strange. Motherhood has always been such a pivotal thing for me. I am naturally inclined to give more of myself to my family BUT also at the same time I find a new kind of drive to pursue all of my other dreams.”
She added that she wouldn’t have the drive to pursue it before, even without kids. She added, “It is difficult to juggle and sometimes mom guilt gets the best of me but I respect the fact that I can’t give my family the best version of me if I can’t give myself the chance to grow in all my other talents and grow as a person. I’ll be forever grateful we shared our growth together.
Padilla is mom to Alas Joaquin (born in 2017) and Axl Romeo (born in 2019). She is married to fellow actor Aljur Abrenica.
