I don’t know about you, but being stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic for the past few weeks has made me dissociate with the outside world a little bit. I see the same four faces every single day. And while I do see my friends on social media, it isn’t the same. I also keep up with the news, but seeing a slew of patient numbers and statistics doesn’t do much in making me feel anything more than fear and worry.
As such, reading about Jo Avila’s COVID-19 journey on Facebook yesterday really made an impact on me. In his Facebook post, he narrates in detail how he came to find that he had the coronavirus and the entire process that came with it. Read the full story in his Facebook post here:
