These past few days, temperature has been on record high, When In Manila. Philippine summers has always been known to be the hottest, and this year is no exception. More than ever, it is time to bear the sun with your favorite pair of shades in this tropical weather.
Ray Ban, the official sunglasses of summer 2012, has launched their newest line of limited edition shades.
The new Rare Print Collection by the La Boca design group gives us fresh, colorful, and vibrant designs on the classic Ray Ban wayfarers. These special shades are limited and these prints will never be produced again after this season.
True to Ray Ban’s slogan “Never Hide”, these glasses allow you to show your individuality through their shades– it becomes a statement.
Ray Ban held their launch at the new Buddha Bar along Kalayaan Ave. The newly opened bar that had 3 floors was perfect for a big event such as this one.
There were activities planned out for those in attendance. We were given a chance to design our own La Boca shades (and I failed at this miserably, curse my non-artistic ways!), try out other Ray Bans, play a dice game for prizes, and pose for our own “Never Hide” photos.
Prizes were given away, including a few pairs of La Boca Rare Prints.
The fashion show commenced soon after that.

Live music and dancers made the stage more exciting.
We were then introduced to the Ray Ban brand Ambassadors.
