WHEN IN MANILA, get some luxurious pampering at Marriott Hotel’s QUAN SPA.  Why do I say luxurious? because they only use Pevonia products, which are used by the elite spas worldwide.

Since rooms are limited, it is best to make a reservation to secure a slot. We had two of their special treatments – The Earth Stone Massage and Quan Spa’s Light and Luminous Facial. But before anything else, we were sent to the wet area first so we can enjoy the steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi for the complete pampering experience.

I loved the ceiling in the steam room. It was like you’re stargazing at different places because of the effects of the changing lights. However, we did not stay long in the wet area since we’re really longing to try those heavenly treatments.

 Welcome drink

 

While waiting for our room, we were given a refreshing welcome drink that was composed of pineapple honey-ginger tea. It was surprisingly good 🙂

 Our room was huge. We have our own toilet and bath area, complete with toiletries (and disposable undies). It felt like a hotel room, only with a massage bed 🙂

Quan Spa’s Light and Luminous Facial (1hr, Php 3,950) aims to bring back the youthful glow of your skin with this aromatic, lightening and moisturizing facial treatment. The treatment is non-greasy and contains antioxidants that help combat against dryness and premature aging. A lightening mask completes this facial treatment to give the skin a bright and firm complexion. Touch your skin right after and feel the effects instantly 🙂

Quan Spa’s Earth Stone Massage (1hr 30 mins, Php 3,500) uses heated massage stones to stimulate circulation of oxygen throughout tired and tensed muscles, which I badly needed. This ultimate full body massage combined two micronized minerals, malachite and zincite together with aromatic massage oils that helped restore balanced to my overworked muscles and limbs. I felt relaxed all over and tension free. It was that good!

After getting all pampered at Quan Spa, we were served hot lemongrass tea to refresh our senses. It was an amazing experience, a great gift to yourself indeed 🙂
