Since 1987, the PUP Department of Economics has been shaping the young minds of aspiring economists who are not only knowledgeable but also socially active and nationalistic in thought and deed.
For 33 years, the Department has seen tales of positive journeys of successful Alumni who brought pride to the PUP. Through affordable yet high-quality education, these transformed individuals are now employed in the government, the private sector, academe, and many other fields promoting the greater good.
This is the grounds behind the 33rd Economics Week – the celebration of triumphs and the promotion of closer relationships among its humble community. The goal of this event is to make each stakeholder feel more connected to the DE family.
The event will be held on February 4-6, 2020 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, A. Mabini Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila. The expected number of participants is 400 in this event.
