Well, aren’t Filipinos quite the gracious hosts indeed!
The Philippines just hosted an elegant gala dinner for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations that focused on Filipino talent and artistry, featuring a star-studded list of performers such as Pilita Corrales, Jed Madela, Darren Espanto, Jona, among others.

Of course, a night wouldn’t be complete without President Rodrigo Duterte singing his favorite karaoke song, “Ikaw” alongside Pilita Corrales.
Interestingly, the President apparently sang upon the “orders” of US President Donald Trump.
President Duterte said:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I sang uninvited a duet with Ms Pilita Corrales upon the orders of the commander in chief of the United States.”
While others were baffled as to why the President would dedicate a love song to Trump, as it turns out, Ikaw is a karaoke favorite of the President’s, having sung the song in several occasions, such as during a Davao media night
