On Sunday night, the movie screening of Iglesia ni Cristo’s (INC) biopic for its founder, Felix Manalo (that bears the same title as the movie), broke two Guinness World Records according to Iglesia ni Cristo Television’s Facebook page.
A total of 43,624 attended the premier screening held at the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena, which also holds the largest mix-used indoor theater record. It is now considered as the world’s largest audiences in both film preview and film screening as certified by Guinness World Record.
The previous record holder was held by a film premier for the movie “Honor Flight”, which was held at the Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A total of 28,442 moviegoers attended the said screening in 2012.
