For premature birth deliveries, the number heightens, for it is not just the hormones affecting the state of a mother. But there’s real trauma. Trauma that preemie parents have to endure.
We don’t even have to be a parent to feel the hardships having a tiny baby, and seeing them fighting for their lives in their first 10, 30, 60 days, some even more in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit before finally going home. And surely, the battle doesn’t end there.
