Yes, people, someone figured out a way to distribute alcohol in powdered form!
‘Just add water’ and voila, instant cocktail!– that is purportedly how Palcohol works.
After the initial buzz online about this innovative product, powdered alcohol or ‘Palcohol”has been approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. It is now legal to be sold in the US. Lipsmark, the company behind Palcohol, plans to begin sales by summer 2015.

According to the Palcohol Website, there are 5 different versions of the product. Two of those are shots: V which is “premium vodka distilled four times” and R which is ” premium Puerto Rican rum.
” For those who have a more whimsical taste in drinks, they will also be offering the Cosmopolitan, the Powderita (Margarita), and Lemon Drops which are all cocktail versions.
Palcohol will be sold “anywhere where liquor can be sold and a buyer must be of legal drinking age to buy it. It will be available both in the United States and abroad and it can also be bought online.”
