Another beloved manga is ending soon.ย The Promised Neverland, which follows the story of orphans who escape their home into a world ruled by monsters, is finally reaching its finale next week.
According to a leaked scan online, the manga is reportedly going to end with the 28th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jumpย magazine. The final chapter, Chapter 181, will be 27 pages long.
It was also announced that Volume 19 of the series will be released this July while the much-awaited second season of the anime will premiere in January 2021.
In the same scan, an editor note about The Promised Neverland says: “The story finally reaches its end!! Don’t miss its shocking conclusion!!”. This news has yet to be confirmed but it’s only a matter of days until we find out for certain. Though it’s true that we’ve have been bracing ourselves for the manga’s conclusion now that the dust is beginning to settle following its shocking climax, we’re not entirely sure if we’re ready to say goodbye to Emma, Norman, Ray, and the others just yet.
